BIO. OF ADV. GOODLUCK P. CHUWA

Mr. Goodluck Peter Chuwa is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Judicial Administration (IJA)-Lushoto. He is also a Part-Time Lecturer at the Law School of Tanzania. Mr. Chuwa has over 25 years’ experience in legal profession.

He is a holder of Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) of the University of London, a Diploma in Legislative Drafting from the International Law Institute (I.L.I), an LL.B from the University of Dar es Salaam, and a Certificate in Law Teaching from the University College London (UCL).

He is also trained and accredited by the American National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) as a Trial Advocacy Skills Trainer. He has diverse experience in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Contracts Negotiations and Contract Drafting, Advocacy Skills, Legislative Drafting, Legal Writing, Islamic Law, among others.

Mr. Chuwa is a consultant legislative drafter and a member of the Commonwealth Association of Legislative Counsel (CALC). In the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mr. Chuwa is an accredited Negotiator, Mediator, Reconciliator, and Arbitrator. He is listed on the panels of Arbitrators of the London Court of International Arbitration (L.C.I.A), Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb), and the National Construction Council (NCC). He is also a member of the African Users’ Council of the London Court of International Arbitration (L.C.I.A).
